SANBO was founded for production
of azo-dyes at its Sakai Factory in the year of
Showa 27 (1952). In Showa 44 (1969) its Wakayama
Factory came on stream, and in Showa 51 (1976) Wakayama
Factory acquired certification for production of
pharmaceuticals. In Showa 60 (1985) the new factory,
Shizuoka Factory, was installed in Fukude-machi,
Iwata-gun, Shizuoka-ken.
Production of pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical
intermediates has been carried out centering on
Wakayama Factory by full utilization of state-of-the-art
technologies on fine chemicals with securing higher-quality
products, as well as creative efforts toward new
chemical products under collaborative research and
developments with other companies. |
